1. Execution of Sensory Test
Both independently and in a team environment with all Sensory Personnel (panelists, technicians, and sensory manager) to execute sensory tests according to the product and project needs.
Identify the regional R&D sensory needs for product development, Align the supporting plan with internal customer.
Work with the regional development labs to design and implement research proposals that generate broader understanding of product preferences and usage patterns.
Co-ordinate global sensory input in regional work to build innovative new test methods. Conducting competitive product profiling as needed.
Set up relevant samples and paperwork for weekly tests. Ensure that all materials are ready and available for each weeks testing.

2. Develop and Maintain Professional Panel Under the guidance of manager, develop the sensory panel methods to meet the demand from development labs, reference with the global panel methods to make it suitable for the local condition.
Responsible for the panel recruitment, panel training as well as the panel validation.
Panel Monitoring and panel retraining to maintain the high quality of the sensory panels, ensuring that panelists feel valued, and motivated.
Manage the panel session and payments for all Sensory tests.

3. In-use Test
Design the test proposal and questionnaire according to the purpose and background of the project for the In-use test, work with the development labs to confirm the test design.

4. Test Result Report
Panel data collection and interpretation, and reporting of results in the standard formal reports.
In-use test data collection and analysis, work out the topline and formal reports.
Data analysis and report for the other sensory test.

Requirements for the Position
- Higher education background (in statistical, math or sensory analysis, consumer science) with Bachelor’s degree
- Specific statistical software skills (Excel stats, SAS/ JUMP, SPSS, R,
Statistical)
- Strong skills in applied statistical to Sensory and Consumer Science (Design of experiment, Modelling, Multivariate analysis, sensory data processing).
- Fluent writing and speaking in English, knowledge of a second language is preferred
- Familiarity in MS Office and SAP
